Sweeney Todd:
Level 6 Student Showcase

Come and bear witness to the tale of the man who fell victim of an injustice that robbed him of his wife and child, Sweeney Todd - “The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”, who exerts revenge on the society of London by slitting the throats of his customers before passing them on to his neighbour Mrs Lovett to be made into meat pies.


Our University of Arts London (UAL) Performing and Production Arts will be performing selected scenes of this gruesome but exciting tale of this classic musical created by Steven Sondheim.

About this course

The University of the Arts London (UAL) Level 3 (SCQF Level 6 equivalent)  Diploma in Performing and Production Arts is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to access and progress to degree level study or employment in the performing arts. 

Delivered by Out of the Darkness Theatre Company in partnership with UHI Moray, there is a priority and emphasis on the discipline of Musical Theatre, with elements of dance, singing and acting.
The Diploma provides an opportunity for you to explore the performing arts, develop and test your creativity within a qualification structure which is stimulating, demanding and provides a supportive transition from general to more specialised study.
